Tried that, didn’t work.
You and TheMan could be twins. He has the same problem. He can’t get replaced or get time off either. He needs both knees and a shoulder replaced but they can’t afford him to be laid up long enough to recover. He’s deteriorating, just using the Comfrey Salve I make to keep going

Not complaining, but even when not turning wrenches they got me doing everything. I breathed new life in this shop from renovating it, putting LED lights in to organizing by putting in shelves and moving stuff. All that stuff would arrive on pallets and be picked apart looking for whatever losing other stuff along the way. Yeah I haven’t turned a wrench in 3 days.

Coffee is ready. I’m adjusting to DST, it sure throws me off. My internal time is set to real time. I’ve been sleeping late but I’m getting back into early rising.
I hate the change. Dark to wake up can't get things done. Then I adjust through the day and go to bed on the current time. UGH

I am slowly adjusting to the clock change. I didn't put new batteries in my wall clock as I generally do for forward/back, as it's only been 3+ months.

I did go outside and work in the yard after I got home, it's a small blessing.

Weeded one of my raised beds, gave the flock the results. Lots of excitement!

I'm up. It's dark. Coffee is 😊. Slept well for 6 hr straight. Should be good for today -- gotta go to work.

Yesterday was beeeeautiful here. Upper 60s, sunshine, light breeze, just perfect. I reset my jobs and stayed home! Went for a load of hay. Walked the farm and need to mow, dig, get up fence that's in rolls now. 😂 This coming week has heavy hrs but the next, maybe can get by with 3-4 days at home. Still need to get some seed in starter cups. Tomato, pepper, etc. weekend supposed to be 70s and some rains sun night into Mon. It's a plan.

I don’t remember alarm going off. Yesterday I slaughtered 10 chickens, hand plucked. They are on ice, I’ll process this afternoon. Going to sheriff’s breakfast this morning. Meeting a friend at 8:00, then going to his house to give my opinion on his sheep being pregnant. Same friend that I helped him tape and float sheetrock. I get to see his barndominium all completed and they are moved in. Most importantly, I’m picking up his chicken plucker!! He’s about a week behind me on processing chickens. I’ll finish up end of April, he’ll start first of May.
