Hi everyone. I currently have chickens(obsessed with byc forum) and am planning on getting rabbits and goats soon. I have raised rabbits for meat before(NZ mixes) but have never had goats. I love the kind environment this forum seems to share and find these mediums the absolute best for learning.

My partner and I own 5 acres off a dirt road with our 2 dogs, 16 chickens, and 9 guinea fowl in NW Massachusetts. I am originally form Brooklyn NY and am constantly in awe of the nature around me and of the path my life took. Our goal is sustainability and natural responsible animal husbandry. What breed of goats are you planning to get

Thanks!! I'm honestly not sure yet on the breed. I plan on researching all of this year before I dive in. I am currently in the process of expanding my poultry operation and plan to have rabbits within the next couple months. Goats will be next spring!
