That is very close to me, relatively speaking. I'm in VA, I've had one person buy a piglet from Maryland earlier this year. Have one runt of the litter glit left. Black with white socks. She's a bit wild now, since she's been living free and happy with all the farm critters, lol, but they settle down well with some work. PM me for more info.

We haven't settled on our house yet, not for another two weeks. After that we have some renovations (house has no garage and boyfriend is a carpenter with a lot of tools) we will hopefully be able to do. Then we have to work on the pig fencing and shelter. At this point I'm just trying to do my research to guarantee we make the right choice, but I would love to keep in touch with both of you when the immediate time is right! I'd say we are two to three months off from bringing a squealing bundle home.

Does anyone know if you can own a pig in a gated or planned community in the orange county area? Maybe if you need to get a permit or if it's not allowed at all? I can't seem to find it anywhere!

Ask the Orange county administration and zoning office.

Oh, still have one piglet left. The black w/white glit, 5-6mo now, 10 or so pounds. If anyone is interested in her.
