Only 80° here, but the sun is hot, already, so I am taking a cool down break.
Early this morning I went to the local nursery, bought pine straw for the blueberry bushes, annuals for me.
Lawnmower needs service, plus the front wheel drive stopped working, so I brought it to a well-recommended shop nearby. I found a piece of plywood to use as a ramp, but after getting the mower in the back of my SUV, I couldn't fold down the handle.
I didn't want to try to struggle removing it, so I improvised. I rolled it out far enough to fold the handle without unloading/reloading it.

I stopped at the Ace Hardware to see if they had any empty chain buckets. One was "close enough" to empty so the manager gave it to me, score! I thanked him, then bought a replacement drill bit.
One new nesting box procured!
Next I removed all the blossoms and developing berries. I offered them to my chickens, who seemed interested.
I took some finished compost, side-dressed the blueberry bushes, added soiled straw around the edges of the blueberry plot, then mulched, and watered.
I removed my dead gardenia, loosened the soil behind it, added peat moss and compost, then transplanted my new clematis. I need to add a trellis, will do that tomorrow, Sunday, soon.
Annual garden prepared, soil loosened, amended.
And my tomato plants location also prepared, amended, trellis added.
I want to do a little more, but I think it's best that I stop, plus my injured wrist is not happy, swollen and sore though I have been favoring it. Bummer.
I'll transplant the tomatoes in a couple hours, once the sun is behind the trees.
