After work I am going to a local breeder to look at 4 delinks. :weee 2 are aprox 6mo and come from good milk genes and are $150 a piece. The other 2 are 18 months and have shown to be not as great milkers; one has an extra teat and are $75 a piece. I am wondering what I need to look for before making the decision. As for the milk issue at this point I am not as concerned with quantity as I am with quality. I know that coat and eyes need to be shinny ect. But what else do I look for. Any and all help is welcomed. :woot

Did you mean Nigerian Dwarf or Miniature Nubian (Nigerian x Nubian)? My biggest concern would be CAE negative, no signs of abscesses on the goats or in the herd, well grown (don't have the appearance of cocci damage), etc. I wouldn't mess with supernumerary teats personally. It's going to cost you the same amount to feed the better quality milkers as it will to feed the poor producers with supernumeraries.
