We had to shear the sheep for the first time...our clippers wouldn't go through her fleece...so we used scissors to shear her we only got the top layer off but its a little bit of relief for her.We are gonna give shots soon

Hand shears don’t do a half bad job. I have a couple that carry a Dorper thatch of wool on their backs. I bought hand shears from Premier 1.

But I do have a question...
Should I be worried about the coyotes and foxes around getting the lamb(s) when they are born,we do have goats in with them though.
