Welcome from NW Mississippi!...:frow
We have goats, chickens, ducks, and cats here on our 20acres.
It sounds like ya have quite an assortment to keep ya busy way up there. Your goats look absolutely wonderful, are you raising for show, dairy, or meat?....or combination?...just wondering.
Again....:welcome

Just dairy at the moment, although we may have to make a foray into meat if our second doe gives us more bucks! We're pretty much just homesteading to try and be our own primary source of food. Getting there slowly but surely, it was pretty great to not need to buy eggs or milk at the store this week!

There is one thing about it, with a couple in the freezer there are always "Options". It sure beats peas or beans and cornbread for many nites in a row. Hope ya hang around and enjoy the "Community", there are many in all "Stages" here, and there is always something to learn from others, as we share our experiences with them here. Feel free to post any question, advice, or comment as ya browse around, and we all love pics.:)

It's definitely a good feeling to pick supper out of your own freezer. Plus you know how your animals were raised, what they ate and how they were treated. :thumbsup
