As far as CD&T generally it is given about 3-4 weeks prior to kidding to give kids immunity. Many also give the dewormer at that time also as parasite bloom with the hormonal increase of the doe.
We use the Manna pro and like it very much.
We do not feed our dwarfs during pregnancy until the last 3 weeks but that is because they get fat easily. Our goats have always been pasture raised and thrive without feed so generally we give feed only during milking. It really depends on the way they have been bred/raised.
If the breeder has been feeding this way I would ask them how much they give... some goats need feed to keep condition. But do not increase just because they are bred.
1 cup a day if they are NOT fat should be fine.
The totes are great... we don't use them as heads get stuck
We do open troughs, raised feeders and wall feeders...
