That week of hot weather has triggered the spring shedding. They will all be scratching soon to help shed. You can get a cheap roll of coarse jute rope to wind around a board or some all natural broom heads to bolt to shelter as scratching posts.
Thank you @Margali will look into the broom heads, we try to give them trees as much as possible but we don't have enough to have 1 in each paddock yet.

Dottie is getting big! She is due in April.

The hay feeder was my first DIY project EVER. It has never been knocked over, even when the ram was in with the ewes and used it as a scratching post. It has to do with the way the legs are built. It is an easy build, you just need 3 pallets. I can send you the link to the YouTube video I followed to build it or you can look up How to build the 3 pallet hay feeder by SSLFAMILYDAD on YouTube.
Awesome! I’ve got palettes I’ll look on YouTube! Thanks

Snickers is still in his own paddock, here on the right. We are still rotating everyone every 3 days.

The sheep spent the entire month of March in our front yard, my favorite paddock was between the chicken yard and the garden. I really enjoyed seeing everything in one place. We were rotating them every 2-3 days, bringing them up to the front allowed the back pasture to rest, some of the areas not grazed since January 29th :yesss: We have moved them back now and will continue to rotate every 2-3 days. I love to see all the green coming in.

Made some shade shelters out of cattle panels and tarp, hopefully they hold up to the crazy wind/rainstorms we get here. I anchored them down with heavy duty ground anchors so we shall see. If they workout I will be so happy, moving the metal shed is not my favorite thing 😅

Snickers is still hanging out in his own paddock. He is a good ram who respects the electric fence. I am grateful for that.

Our chickens have been busy producing delicious butt nuggets and this has not only provided plenty for our big family but also allowed the children to pick back up on their egg "business", selling to some local stores and a few individuals. Thank you @Ridgetop for your weekly support.

Dottie is getting close to her due date of April 18th. Weller will be pulled from the ewe paddocks at that point. Peggy and Misty are both still allowing their lambs to nurse, we will allow for them to self wean them (with the exception of Weller).

We have harvested some mullein and dandelions for medicinal use. My rosemary is doing really well after being in the garage for the winter. I had also placed the habanero pots in the garage and they have some new growth but I am not sure if they will produce peppers again or not this year, last year I got over 100 peppers out of these 2 pots. There are many other things already planted in the garden but I could not tell you what they are as I am not very involved with the garden this year.

Anyway, I just wanted to hop on here and share a little bit of my life recently with you all. Our family stays very busy 6 days out of the week and that makes it a little challenging for me to get on here and socialize/learn more, but I'm still here 🙃 Still loving the sheep life.

Great blessings belong to those
who don’t listen to evil advice,
who don’t live like sinners,
and who don’t join those who make fun of God.
Instead, they love the Lord’s teachings
and think about them day and night.
So they grow strong,
like a tree planted by a stream—
a tree that produces fruit when it should
and has leaves that never fall.
Everything they do is successful.
But the wicked are not like that.
They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
When the time for judgment comes,
the wicked will be found guilty.
Sinners have no place among those who do what is right.
The Lord shows his people how to live,
but the wicked have lost their way.
-Psalm 1
