What about a motion light? I think you can get solar ones.

We have motion lights, the deer don't care. I think the water sprayer is working but hubby needs another one for better coverage of his corn. I'll get a picture of it today.

I got one squirrel last night. I'm trying to figure out where I can set up the trap in a different spot and get the rest of the squirrels. They are still getting into the rabbit food.

My squirrelinator seems to have a "don't eat here" sign on it lately. Squirrels are there - a whole colony in the pasture and not a single critter. I've tried dog food, alfalfa and pellets - so far nada - one of these days I'll find the right menu item for Squirrel Cafe

I moved the trap near the rabbit zone and put rabbit feed in and around it. Then I put a brick in each feeder so it would be very difficult to reach the feed. Maybe this will give the squirrels more incentive to go in the trap.

I am not looking forward to trying to get the bricks out tomorrow morning. But hopefully the trap will be full.

Squirrels didn't get to the feed last night, but still tried to poop in it for at least 5 feeders. I thought I had figured out the right amount of feed for the rabbits, turns out it was the amount for rabbit+squirrel theft, I think I can decrease their feed amount again. Now I'm wondering how much feed I wasted feeding the dang squirrels.

No squirrels in the trap this morning. Hopefully some will be caught later today. Something came into the new garden and ate 3 bean plant tops. Dunno if they will resprout from the remaining stem. Need to spray the deer stuff again.

No squirrels caught today. The bricks and rocks are a pain to put in and take out. I think it'll be easier if I cut some 2*4 to fit into the feeders instead. Have to get hubby to set up the saw.

The beans will have to be replanted. Take the top off new sprouts and it dies.

Just stick another bean next to....I've had some throw out new leaves after goat topping it. amazingly!

Had a nice visit with my mom Saterday and we went to Joann's to buy some fabric. I got some for making pillowcases for Christmas presents and two new pillowcases for me. I found a cute print in a cheerful yellow with black and white chickens on it. The other print is a flannel with multiple colors of cats lined up.

I also got some green fabric and green leaf print to try to make a skirt. I'm tired of wearing the same 2-3 skirts to church. I found a YouTube video showing how to make a skirt without elastic or zippers and it's supposed to be wearable regardless if you lose or gain weight, or are pregnant. I got the fabric washed, now I need to iron it and start cutting out the pieces.
