Any thoughts to letting Dottie raise one of the twins? Salvage a lactation on her, and since she is a first timer... let her figure out the whole momma thing? Just a thought although I know most ewes raise twins just fine... and maybe letting her dry up and just go on and get bred back sooner is better...
We often will pull a twin off a cow and get it grafted on someone else in a case of one losing a calf and another calving with twins at nearly the same time... little different than sheep, but if she is crying for a lamb, it might help her and maybe better to let her just get rebred and start over with her own. Too bad someone didn't have trips so you could put one over on her...
