She had twin ewe lambs with a tiny assist from me. The firstborn black and white girl had an elbow stuck. Thankfully she finished about 45 minutes before the severe thunderstorm hit.

She is super attentive and cleaning them off. The babies seemwd a little confused about which end the milk comes from. I put a halter on her long enough to help both twins get a long drink of colostrum. After that the babies started nuzzling the correct end so I untied her. I will check on them at next break in the rain.

The severe weather last night ripped tin off sheep shed and soaked Mocha & babies. I relocated her into a section of the side that still had a roof. Oreo was doing fine but Star was acting super chilled.

So she came inside to warm up and get a bit of colostrum replacer. Mocha didn't want her back. So my wonderful SIL Ashley took night shift bottle duty. I weighed the lambs this morning. Oreo was 9.84lbs and Star was 7.6lbs. Bruno is confused by sheep-in-a-box.

I figured out why Star got chilled so easy. She is having problens nursing. Her bottom jaw is a little offcenter left to right.

I tried researching and I didn't see anything about left /right misalignment just under/over bite. Will it get better or worse as she grows? Could she have decent pet life or is meat market the only option?

I suspect Wry mouth. It's often fixable at first birthing since things are still soft and pliable. Depends on severity. Some realign after suckling a few days...again severity factor.

Hope she clears up for you. Often it doesn't become problematic for graze or pellets. It isn't inherited.
