I was changing Star's diaper and gave her a close lookover. Besides the slight wry jaw, she has DOUBLE teats on each side. So even if wry jaw corrects, she's not a breeding ewe.
Going to list her on FB as PET quality bottle ewe and see if I can sell her quick.

So I triple checked Oreo this morning. Her bite, teats, and everything else looks good. She's gained 0.92lbs since yesterday's weigh in.
Star will be going to a pet home with full disclosure on the issues this afternoon. New owner is going to pay me for the supplies I purchased so net zero. *sigh*

So Star has been delivered to new home with a Grandma that has lots of goats and a few sheep. Her daughter and grandkids were with her and over the moon about Star.
My lovely husband drove 2hrs roundtrip to get me these. Such a score ~$1300 for $500. An automatic headgate and a 2way sort with stop.

I’m happy for Star, she will have a good home. Look at it this way, Oreo will get ALL the milk and grow bigger.

I am on several show lamb and goat FB groups. A gentleman listed it and I pounced! This time of year there is a lot of senior sellout listings including trailers.
