So if we got another ram would I just keep both rams separated from Ewes?
For now another ram would not be necessary and would be like Baymule says - "a pain". You won't need a second ram until you start breeding your ewe lambs out of your current ram. You can actually breed that ram to his own daughters for one generation. Then thenext generations must be terminal (market or auction lambs).

Ewes enjoying the break from the rain. I weighed the lambs and everyone is doing good.
GWR2415 Albus is a hunk. He's up to 46.74lbs which is 0.72lb/day. He is shaking up as a decent herd sire candidate. We will see how he looks at weaning.

GWR2416 Gywnn (white) is 32.14lbs.
GWR2417 Gell (brown) is 39.4lbs.
That is 0.505 lb/day for each lamb. Blaze is a great mom.

The amount of swearing my 16yr old Draco is aiming at hyper kitten Newton is hilarious. 😁 "Get off my chair!" "Get off my human!"

No biting or exposed claws slaps so I'm pretty sure it will work out okay. Nothing like being gone for a month and coming back to your obnoxious roommate who spread his stuff everywhere.

I got a fair amount of farmwork done today.
-The lambs are 6.5 weeks old so I have them the first dose of CDT.
- I moved show sheep into north pen by stealing door panels from show pen. That was a fun juggling act.
- I trimmed Socks and Oreo's hooves since they were getting long on extra show rations and soft bedding. The expanded covered show sheep area will have pavers for natural wear.
- I got the remaining small roof down and a new header been a long main shed wall. That way I can get center joists in. It involves trimming down some existing supports with oscillating tool and finding out fire ants were in the shed roof.

@KodeshAcres CDT covers 2 eating disease and Tetanus. The bacteria is common in soil everywhere and it's a nasty way to die. This is the only vaccine I give. Thee adults get a booster once year before lambing. I'll booster yours before delivery so you don't have to worry for awhile.
