So, I went to pick up some chickens some people were giving away free due to an upcoming move, and they have 2 pygmy wethers they also need to sell. The poor little guys are in a dark stall, and come over to get attention, and when they put their hooves up on the slats of the stall door, I see hooves
so overgrown they are starting to curl! Well, of course now I am picking themup on Saturday! I am going to put each one in a pen with each one of my bucks forcompany

"Why, darling love of my live, what ever could possibly be the problem? (fluttering eyelashes)

"Darling, they are neat, sweet, and petite and would make absolutely fabulous friends for the bucks."

"Oh yeah, how does hardtack and water sound to you, buster!"

Hi, I'm AnimalMom and I am also a goat enabler.

I could sneak in at least 3-5 goats and my Dh would never notice.

I mentioned the other day about a Polish Tatra a friend got and said I should think about getting one in a few years. He just nodded and said yeah, sounds good. What is a Tatra? :gig
Then he said maybe I should get a male Toli or another f Pyr.... that IMO was his "go ahead"....

Having those wethers is a smart decision... tell Dh you consulted with many people (well it is BYH) and all strongly feel your bucks need the wethers for health and well being.

LOL! I snuck in a new goat and the hubby really never would have noticed except for the fact that she told on me herself! She was so friendly that when he went outside, she was like "hey! come pet me!" and he had to check and do a double take....then he called and asked me what all our goats names were....I slipped her name in the middle and he made me back up to hers.....Oh well....it was worth a shot.......Of course we only had 5 goats at the time (6 with Spelly).....:D
