Hello everyone, my name is Denice and my other half is Mike. We have a small farm about an hour east of Sarasota, FL. We have only been here 2 years. We raise Turkeys, Chickens, and Sheep. We are very small scale, but we love it here. I thought the best way to introduce ourselves was to share a video of our place.

I hope this works and you are able to see the video, I am a novice at doing videos.

Greetings and welcome to BYH from NE Texas! Thanks for sharing the video. It worked great for me and you have a nice place down there in sunny Florida. Glad to have you with us! Please make yourself at home and browse around the various threads.

Thanks for the welcome. We plan to live out our lives here so we kept it small. I am already retired (early) and my other half still works. We figure even when we are up in age we can manage this place. We also have started growing some veggies and herbs, and planted fruit trees for the future.
I am enjoying reading many of the threads on here.

Welcome from Ohio! I liked your video, your setup looks very nice. The chickens are sure quieter than the turkeys :) Are those Katahdin sheep?

Welcome from NH! We raise goats, pigs, chickens and turkeys. I can't see your video (I am using my cell phone, so videos don't work), what kind of turkeys do you have? We have black spanish crosses and chocolate turkeys.
