She still wasn't looking good today so i got ahold of a Vet I've used for my emu and took her in. He thinks she is septis, and gave her a shot of baytril and tubed her with the goats milk I brought, I am to give her Baytril 2 x a day for 5 days. I told him of Excede but he feels Baytril is the best med for this septis. He thinks we have a chance since it seems early, but you never know, i should know something by tomorrow. He said it could have been caused by a list of things. She does have a hear murmur, but a small one and he doesn't feel it is causing her problems. Her lungs are good besides being sick. She still only weighted 13.5 lbs, so i will tube her when she doesn't take the bottle enough. So it is touch and go, although she seemed more alert on the way home. Fingers crossed......
I wish i could have gotten a hold of someone sooner.....

At least you were able to get hold of a vet and now have her on antibiotics. Hopefully this will take care of things. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she was born septic.

Thank you, you've all been so helpful. She seems to be feeling a little better this evening. She tried getting up but I have a blanket & heating pad over her. Her eyes are open more and she was talking to me to get her bottle. Poor little thing, it's going to be a long night...... i'm afraid to leave her for any length of time, but she is looking a little better. She's still peeing and pooing good. :fl

Grab yourself a pillow and blanket and have a sleepover with Peaches. I hope she pulls through all this and gets better. :fl

She was quite the wiggle worm last night. LOL She kept sitting up on her front "knees" , eyes wide open and ears up. She is feeling much, much better. I had to put puppy pads down everywhere she was so wiggley. She is wanting to stand, but is still a little weakened. I wouldn't be surprised if she is standing by the end of today..... she is one tough little cookie. She knew i was sleeping on the couch around the corner from her, she kept wiggling that direction. I am letting her drink as much of her bottle, then waiting 15 min and then tubing her the rest as she is still not drinking more than 3 oz on her own. I think she has a fighting chance if she continues like this. :fl

Yeah! I am happy she is doing better. I hope those antibiotics kick in and she has even more improvement. She is a fighter so that is good. I love checking in for updates on her. :D
