just came in from feeding up to find Peaches standing in the kitchen with her head in the garbage bag. She walked over to me begging for her bottle, she drank about 6 oz then took another nap. I guess she is feeling better, she seems bright eyed again.

Maybe the Goat Milk Replacer gave her a stomach problem too. If it were me, I wouldn't mess with her milk type too much until she gets stronger and a little older just in case it is messing with her system.

Good to hear. Sounds like she just needs to be kept in the house. You can put a disposable diaper on her. Just cut out an area for her tail. A friend of mine kept an alpaca in her house while she was bottle feeding and that is what she did.

We did the same thing with a lamb. Cut hole for the tail and used a little duct tape to better secure it. There is a picture somewhere of Rolls using postal tape for the same thing. You just make a belt with it on the diaper where the tabs are to keep it from sliding off their butts.

I was thinking of that...... I have a chicken diaper for one of my chickens... hehe, why not a Cria diaper. :p

I am going to leave her on the goats milk...well as long as my friend can keep supplying me with some. :D Until she is much older, even if I have to drive an hour to get it.. she's worth it.
