This is really a cool little community! Boone enjoys his nightly walks, since he’s pretty much tied to me 24/7 with no opportunities to play or explore. We shared a frozen yogurt last night. He’s definitely a fan.

Grandson has his alarm set for too-early-30.
I desperately need some of this but they have a French press and it’s too much hassle. I need instant gratification in the morning

I am so very thankful that I never developed a taste for coffee... or the NEED for the caffeine to get me going in the morning... as evidenced by everyone that "dies" for their first cup in the morning... Bless all of your hearts.

Truly I never drank much coffee until in my 40s, then only a cup at slow time about 3 in afternoon. Always hot tea in mornings. Guess in my late 60s it became a morning thing. I still switch off now & then. Sometimes for a week or so.

I enjoy my coffee time. Years of jumping out of bed, getting dressed, feeding kids, packing lunches, out the door to day care or school, then work. Mornings are now my luxury, savoring my coffee, visiting my friends on BYH and watching dawn breaking.

I ordered a “cage” that attaches to the headrests of the car to hopefully keep Boone contained in the back seat. Driving never used to bother me, but it has been horribly stressful for me this trip. Between not trusting my vehicle due to all the warning lights going off, all the accidents we have passed, the super heavy traffic I am unaccustomed to, the fact that I have so much stuff I can’t see through any windows except the windshield, (Boones XXL softcrate, upright walker, enormous dogbed, etc. ) and Boone trying to climb i to the front seat with me, I am absolutely dreading the next leg of the trip.
I sure hope it works!!!!
I’m a little heartbroken at the moment as I have been looking forward to seeing my son and my only biological grandkids. I called to find out what the best day would be to leave, only to realize I will only have an hour or so with them at best. They have school all day and she works all weekend. Their mom has a Mastiff at the house, my son lives an hour away and will likely not be coming down from the mountains as he has hunters booked, and Boone doesn’t do great in restaurants. Add to the mix, they won’t fit in the vehicle with all our stuff

Wondering if Abby can drive and they could stay in a motel with me and go to school from there? Think I will look into that

Mega pain flare. Rats! I was hoping it wouldn’t happen away from the ranch. Stupid, I know but I can’t help myself. Probably the UTI triggered something, or the anxiety about driving…which is justified because Shari drove us to drugstore and was really alarmed at the way Burb is idling and the loud, palpable Klunk! When it changes lower gears…
I want to visit with them but it hurts too much and I am struggling to stay awake. She made me eat an egg cuz I haven’t been able to eat much so I just haven’t.
Praying tomorrow is better. I have to pack and get barrier behind seat to contain Boone because I leave Thurs…or am supposed to…
cancelled AZ plans because I’m afraid to break down in the desert with this car…
