Youch! Bet that hurt. Might turn into a heck of a shiner too 🙁. I know you’re doing all the right stuff to take care of it. Hope it heals up fast.
Must be that us in our prime are supposed to be clumsy - had my yearly chat with the insurance health practitioner and she asked if I’d fallen lately. That and the remember these three words (they ask you what the words are later in the conversation- today it was car apple table. Ha! I remembered 6 hrs later - now that’s PRIME 😉.
Heal up fast - you’ve got a puppy coming! 😊

You can borrow my middle name, Grace. It might work better for you than it has for me. I told my Mom once that she jinxed me to be clumsy. Her reply was, “I’m not responsible for you.” Hahaha!

Just for you, I’m posting a picture of my ripped lip. It looks better now, but it’s still kinda ugly. I was playing toy with Carson, my big black half Great Dane and half Labrador. I was sitting on the sofa, he was all excited. I leaned forward, shook his toy at him and he swatted it with his huge paw. My face got in the way. It bled for almost an hour. It hurt. I felt stupid. Going to church this morning where I’ll have to explain that my dog gave me a fat lip. Grace strikes again!

I’m good this morning considering the day after a fall is usually so much worse. The fatigue from my disease is hitting hard and I can’t take my adderall because bp is way too high, but I see another Doc Tuesday so maybe we can fix that and get sone answers about me falling all the time 🤞🏼

Feeling better today. Wrists are wrapped but I can do a few things. Grinding up some venison and liver/kidneys etc for the dogs. Gotta wait til end of the week to do anything else, since I need groceries and most likely will need Wed to recover from trip to Burns. Looking forward to doing more. I still have dolls and some dresses and toys for the grandkids that haven’t been finished yet and I want to repaint kitchen cupboards, which should go quickly since I don’t have very many and they’ll be black so should cover with 1-2 coats. Then cover counter tops and the kitchen will be golden.
Dehydrating all my extra celery, onion, onion skins, garlic and garlic skins so as not to waste any. Lost my 6 mo pantry list so starting over, this time will print and laminate it.
Beef should be here soon and I hope I have cleaned the freezer out enough. Fenny’s deer legs are taking up a lot of room so may have to lose them and he’s gonna have to make do until next Oct.

He’s been requesting that I fill what is left of his beef cheek with peanut butter and then he wants me to hold it while he licks and chews on it. It’s his little bonding ritual. He does this with his elk antler too. Nut.

Having 2 different viruses hit me has kind of screwed over what good mood I had going. Chronic pain wears you down, then getting your a&& kicked by everything puts a bow on it.
There’s so much I want to do. I want to finish the kitchen, make some sourdough, get dolls made, go out with camera and find pretties.
Cody is moving into a smaller house in Lebec. It’s at least another 2 hours so going to visit will be even tougher. There’s nowhere to stay anymore as Shari and family moved so stopping in Tehachapi is no longer an option. It’s gonna have to be a 15-16 hr straight through drive. Not looking forward to it.
I just want him to be close to the Lord and find some happiness. At least he should be able to get a dog now.
Fever back up. Down for the count I go …
