12lb girl from Jemima this morning.


As much as I love being there while the lambs are born, I definitely prefer finding them up and fed. So much less stress. The cameras make that so much easier too.

I changed the location of the 2nd camera. It was struggling to get a consistent internet connection. It’s still slow, but it’s working better. Bonus is that I can now see the blind corner up at the gate.

Ida is so far past her due date that at this point I think she must have cycled again right before I changed the raddle color on the ram.

So far, I'm having more females, too. Unusual but welcome. Easier because they can stay with mom longer when we consider early breeding issues and weaning. In my case, I'm wanting to add a couple does to my breeding herd and this helps. Can grow out longer to pick keepers/sellers. 👍
