No, I'm not planning on getting Dan a jersey, but I can appreciate and admire nice ones. My tank fill guy does Ai's for his company, so I guess it's too bad goats keep us happy.
They're so pretty, but I'm not patient enough for one of those doe eyed dears. Plus, the two year old can currently break into the pasture and throw a tantrum because he wants a goat to come and play in the shop with him, and flop all over and under those goats, and they just stand there while he screams, not even bothered. Then when the tantrum is done I open the gate and he leads his goat to the shop so they can "play" (he pretends he's milking and also pretends he's a goat eating with them while they clean out the feed dishes and walk around and explore). He couldn't do that with any other animal. The goats are intelligent enough and patient enough to just wait him out.
Not that I let him break into the pasture often and he's always supervised and almost always by me. I'm sticking with goats for now.
