So now I need to find a dealership to properly put a trailer hitch on that work truck's body...and all that's how you give your spouse major heart burn.
And now we're passing around a stomach bug and I'm rushing around taking care of things so I guess that's enough "fun" for now.
Love the truck and trailer that I know you have been wanting... BUT......
WOW and double WOW.... the "baby" is sure growing up.... NO JOKE.... HOW did he get so old in a matter of months...????? Love the playing in the "shower water"......
We'll be alright. This is a very brief and fairly mild stomach bug. Problem is, it comes on quickly, so we've been playing, "when should you stay home and near the bathroom?" with each member of the house but me so far. It has made planning difficult. People have been going from feeling "meh, okay" to rapid clean out mode in like 10 minutes for a few hours. Then they get hungry and back to normal again. Weird one. I almost want my turn now, at home so I won't be surprised randomly. I don't have time for this, lol.
The oldest brought this home for once.
A person with an out of state herd I admire forwarded a post put out by a herd here that is close to the lady with the herd positive for and dying from CAE. The post made it sound like the goat was from the positive lady's son's nigerian herd that the poster had brought to her place as the positive lady is dissolving her herd "due to a life changing injury" she sustained sometime after selling me goats. I contacted the sharer privately and warned that person who was selling the goat was close friends with the positive lady and of the situation down here (not saying that the lady posting the ND had a positive herd or that the goat for sure was the diseased lady's) and that he should be careful of the lady if he didn't know her very well.(We have the sick lady's goats in various homes all over craigslist and auctions now, she's selling them like mad/passing them out so one has to be really careful buying). He took it upon himself to share my post with the person selling the goat and she took it upon herself to come after me, threaten legal action, edit and butcher my post, put it out on both her personal and business page for all her followers to beat me and people "like me" up in public together, and form a lynch mob to go after me all night long until I figured out how to block everyone and make it so only fb friends could message me.
That was fun. So I know who my "friends" are now. There aren't many. I went through and made sure to cull down my friends list if they didn't remove themselves. If anyone is nice to me in public she'll go after them. I've basically been cut off from the show goat world now, and that's okay I guess. Not sure how I'm going to sell anything to decent homes now, but the pressure is off for showing.
I guess it's time next year to continue milk testing and learn to LA.
I still need to put a hitch on the trailer and move it to an under cover parking spot. It will be how I move with whatever goats I need to when the time eventually comes again (always does).
So yes, me and my dairy type goats will be going to NO MORE SHOWS.
What horrible people. Evil, hateful b!tch. What an idiot that you tried to warn, from possibly making a dreadful mistake. Moron. I know there are some nice show goat people out there, but I sure can’t tell it from here.
