We did have frost this morning but it turned out to be right at 70 degrees and pretty.

Teresa should be getting home around 6:30. I made a pot of Navy Bean Soup with ham hocks that turned out really good if she wants something to eat. She stopped at a Cracker Barrel a few hours ago so soup is always a hit.

The light bulb came on yesterday for the young ram. He finally figured out that he could get close to me without being attacked and take a cracker out of my hand. It didn't take but a few times doing that that now he acts like he has been tame all along. I still run him into the chute so it isn't something he will fight when being handled. He is already starting to get a mane and he is a pretty one.

One of the best things that I have liked about this forum is the friends that we make both online and off and a really high number that we actually meet off of the forum. @farmerjan and @Baymule have been here for a visit and it has been a wonderful day. It is wonderful to confirm that the people we meet on the forum are exactly the same in person.

LOVED the meeting, and visiting with Mike and his wife Teresa.... and meeting @Baymule in person after spending many hours on the phone talking previously...
Most gracious people... pretty place even with the dry conditions... and the sheep are like "butterballs" on nothing but grass and content as a pig in a mud puddle... BEAUTIFUL.... and most all come right up to you in the field looking for their animal crackers...
MEL is as big as imagined... even maybe bigger... and friendly as can be....

Weather was great, and really felt like family... Great food too!!!!
