We brought the ewes due to lamb in for a look-see and we had two to worm and one for a shot. We could have done that in the stall without bringing them in but I like them to stay used to being in there even though they are so tame. We have one ewe that is one of out best looking ewes that hasn't lambed twice now so if she doesn't lamb with this group, she will be culled.

I can't remember the name but there is a condition that can affect fertility in sheep caused by cat feces so with the large number of cats that has been around our place, that might be an issue.

Dana - We don't know anything for sure and I don't know if there is any way to know for sure.

We got excited this afternoon when we were driving through Cornersville. There is an Asian style restaurant that opened up this afternoon and we were their first customers. Food was very good and the portion size was on the silly side. There was enough food in each of our orders to feed three people. Now we finally have a decent place to eat without having to drive 30 miles.

Wow! That’s so awesome!! Congratulations on being their first customers! They will remember y’all! Plus being repeat customers! Yay! Good food that close to home!

On the cats, I wouldn’t mind having an outside cat or two. My dogs might make life hard on them, then the coyotes. Now there isn’t even trees around here for the cats to run to.

The ewes due to lamb are bagging up so I figured it was time to move Maisy since I never could break her from adopting a lamb(s). I have had people ask me why I don't leave her in with them but when Maisy "adopts" a lamb, she literally takes it away from its momma and we wind up with a bottle lamb and Maisy will try again.
