Our #5 ewe had a ram/ewe set of twins this morning. 5 is the last of our first year lambs that we didn't put with Oshi so we could give her a break. Since she had lambs anyway, this would mean that Rocky is the sire.

Rocky is no slouch! She will be fine since you have plenty of feed to supplement with if she gets down from lactation. Plenty to sell this year! I wonder if lamb prices will go up since beef is so high.

The sale barn we use say they are expecting prices to be up.

Mike, ya gotta get those young rams out of the ewe pasture! Rocky was a little stinker!

We aren't set up to keep ram lambs. Rocky would have been sent to market if you had not wanted him.

We were open to the possibility that Rocky could and probably would breed this ewe but we accepted that. If there is any fault to place, it is completely on me as I move the sheep in ways that makes it easy on me.

Either way, you still get lambs to sell. Auctions don’t care about Whose-yer-daddy
