The one left has always had twins but never trips but there's always a first time. We went back through our records out of curiosity and found that we have 9 ewes that have had triplets.
Our last ewe to lamb had triplets first thing this morning, This a first for us but all four of the ewes that had triplets all have roots at the same farm. Pepper and Mia both came from Sand Mountain Katahdins and Ginger and Kate are the daughter and Granddaughter of Pepper.
We got everybody fed this morning and since the forecast is for rain most of the day, we drove up to Spring Hill (about 30 miles away) so I could get some sugar free bread and butter pickles at Publix. We also treated ourselves to lunch at a restaurant that we haven't used before. Really tasty but like most places around here, there is enough food on the plate for me to make a couple of meals so tomorrows lunch is in the takeout box in the fridge.
