I want to know the magic you are using on your ewes! So many sets of triplets! Yu know the old saying that you need 2 lambs per ewe to make a living:
"One lamb for the bank, the other for the shepherd."
With triplets you are money ahead!
We haven't done anything different and never did flush the ewes before going in with Oshi in two different groups. I know the ewes control the numbers with lambs but Oshi was a triplet also so who knows.
Just fed and put the lamb to bed for the night and he is looking better. There is no doubt that if we had left him out he would have been dead in the morning. There is no way to know for sure but it looks like 52 had all three of her lambs pretty fast with the weak one being first. He is walking about and taking a bottle pretty good.
Pixie appears to be over the hump and is eating and drinking normally. Her lambs weren't as hungry this morning when we gave them a bottle so she seems to be dropping milk again.
The little bottle lamb told me his name is Reggie and he really enjoys his lap time.
