I’m glad to help! I had a small meat business going in Lindale, a more affluent area than here. Identify your market. Put that brilliant detailed mind of yours to work. Where is your market, how far away? I had to convince a few customers to buy freezers to hold their meat! Then had to educate them on how LONG the whole process is, from birth, me buying weaner pigs, feed and grow out to slaughter and finally delivery to them. Having a freezer full of custom raised pork is a good feeling and you have to convince people of that.

Post your pictures here with a few facts, I’ll help you with wording until you get the hang of it. Does your wife bake? Make pie crust? Guess what makes the BEST FLAKY pie crust? Hog lard.

Hog lard is fantastic for stir fry vegetables. NO PRESERVATIVES! No added chemicals! Only takes a little bit. You can post a tutorial on how to render it and put in jars. I’ve got a pie crust recipe and pictures of how to render the lard.

Do you grill? BBQ? Take pictures!
Take pictures of how you ferment the corn. Take pictures of boiling duck eggs and feeding them to the pigs. Every little detail counts, especially for people who have no clue.

Thanks everyone, and yes I will be raising them on the fermented corn, alfalfa hay, and whatever else I can find. Brought the ATV home, will unload it tomorrow, had business meeting so it was miracle I had time to go get it.
Had to use my backhoe to unload the corn, that was interesting. Tomorrow ducklings are going into lock down, time for round two!View attachment 105786
That truck is damn impressive! Every time you post a pic of it very cool.
