It's coming right on in there! Good job. You going a little deeper? My well is 500'. NOT what anticipated at contracting it 25 yr ago. But on a huge aquifer and GOOD water. Back then, just over $5k....now??? I'd be in deep trouble financially.

The Farm Bill Act of 2018 with inflation drove these prices. Everyone with a farm/ranch can get a well drilled half off, government picks up the other half of the tab as so the driller told me.

Where is the information on that provision in the 2018 Farm Act? I tried to look this up but couldn't find anything about well drilling with government assistance.

You could get a drilling rig that hooks up to a tractor PTO and drill from there, deeper. My son wants one real bad, but due to wrecking truck yesterday, he’s gonna wind up with a truck note. Was not in his plans.

8 feet of water is jut fantastic!

On my bucket list is a mule ride to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. It’s a beautiful place.
