I don’t have to prove animal units. I just filled out the agricultural exemption and claimed sheep. This place was already under ag exemption, so it’s just a continuation. Otherwise it’s a 5 year wait from filing until the ag exemption kicks in.

All you need is a few litters of pigs. 😃
Five year wait, wow. File before March to get next years exemption here. They listed all these properties as Non qualified Ag, which is stupid since on the other side of my property line is agriculture and timberline property. Not like I live on top of a plateau. Seriously how can you not have agriculture on 20 acres?

Here is another kicker out here, got to have at least 80 acres to own any home based business out here. The county and city actively fight against growth. Seen one place get a permit, built so far and they yank the permits. Thought it was just me being cynical, but when established name people say the same thing it's bad.

I am so glad you are young, smart and have conniving patience. I'm not like that in my old age. Good job, Weldman.
Thanks, I only know one direction and I know I will fit that square block in a round hole somehow.

Random thought: With my skills, how about I build a half round kissing gate for folks out here. Never seen one out here which is odd in a agriculture community.

You go in and the livestock stays in, there is different variations too. Seen them when in Europe a lot.

My newest interest: they only eat up to 1% of their body weight a day, leaner meat than about anything, great wool and unlike cows they don't destroy the vegetation with their hooves.
Plus the locals can kiss my arse about brucellosis coming from these bovines.

Yaks? Look awesome, what is their temperament like?
Docile from what I see, though you have a few bullies that make great steaks. Not having to build a fortress to keep them in, they do mind the fences, namely electric ones.
