I borrowed 2 adult females (does?) and one of their kids to clear out a wooded overgrown section of yard & pasture. They had the little elf ears... lamancha??
They were sweet, but kind of a nightmare at the same time. Every day it was either fighting to remove their horns from the woven fencing or searching for them when they crawled through the board fencing.
They did a GREAT job of clearing out the area I needed cleared... then they made it their J.O.B. to remove everything else in the fenced-in yard that wasn't a full grown oak or pine tree... hostas, roses, daylilies, ground covers, forsythias, lilacs, rose of sharron, etc
They also learned - somehow - that if they crawled out between the board fence (with electric lines) between the yard & the paddock, they could run around behind the barn and get inside the barn, then crawling between the boards of the stall walls, they could chase the elderly horse away from her feed and eat that before I could catch them.
yea probably lamanchas, and yep they sounded like a handful

OH!! 🥰 🥰
LOVE Guinea Pigs!!!! Many, many years ago one of the feed store guys gave me a baby G.P. - cage, bowls, food & all. I hid it in my room for almost a year before I forgot to move it's cage off the top of the dresser one day and Mom saw it in the window when she came home.
Then she felt sorry for it being alone in my room all day and stole her from me. She lived the next several years at the corner where the kitchen, living room and hall to the bedrooms & bath all met - center of the house and Queen Observer of all activity.
I miss that sweet 'WEEET, WEET, WEEEET' call when she thought someone had been past he fridge w/o bringing her a treat

So a couple more things happening. Gosling pipped the wrong end but is doing ok, I made an air hole cause it was struggling. Penny is pulling fur! She’s due today and is making a great nest…she gave 8 her first litter and 12 her last litter, I’m excited to see how many she has now!
