    Boone-My Anatolian Unicorn

You can filet or you can just cut the breast off entirely, bone and all - either a good boning knife at the joint or wire cutters.

I'd filet the breast straight off pheasants and ducks. Not much worth the effort after that.

    Coffee anyone ?

Coffee in progress. Still just two lambs, but from the looks of it it won't be long and that will change. Puppies are doing great - had their first shot and microchipped yesterday. A week from today one of my puppy people will be flying in from IL to stay the night and return home with her pup...

    Our First year Lambing! (2024-25)

Looking good! I'd guess about a week out. I've found with mine besides the bag the teats get bigger/rounder.

The journey into the abyss of no return

Too funny on the size even with the tool for perspective. As for the arm sleeve - you get my drift, lots of places have them.

    Herd Humor

I learned how to ride taking lessons - but I learned how to catch a horse in a pasture when I was maybe 7? Where my dad hunted they told me I could ride anything I could catch. Hmmmmmmmmmm maybe that's why I "get" herding - self taught sorta.

    Grants mini herd

They all told me about animal crackers. I laughed - animal crackers for animals!?!!! They were right  You can get them in 2# (I think 2#) bags, not the cute little circus box we had as kids.

2024 SageHill Lambing (the newbie joins in) now Fall 2024

Actually, no that boys were not sold to herding homes. Though you never know, they could end up doing herding for herding trials. Both of them are going to what we call performance homes. They will be active in several different dog sports. Which is great - those bred for herding from good...

2024 SageHill Lambing (the newbie joins in) now Fall 2024

Not too sure where to put this but it IS a fall lamb ................ One of the boys (yellow collar, though only I would know) early herding moves - and he did this more than once. Notice - neither the puppy or the lamb are running --- good herding. This is the girl - Pink collar --- the one...

    Luvmypets Journal: A New Season

Sorry you had to go through all that. Some people are just plain terrible no matter what the situation is. You unfortunately had to work for them for awhile. People like that are what JQ Public think breeders are. Very sad, because those are the exact people that I, and others like me, have to...

2024 SageHill Lambing (the newbie joins in) now Fall 2024

Learning the ropes so to speak. Obi is the old pro at baby lambs, this is (I'm pretty sure) Zo's first time with baby baby lambs. Mama Ewe Stripe is happily munching away on alfalfa and the ram lamb is fast asleep. Seeing things like this is one of the many parts of why I love this. ❤️ And the...
