I'd milk whatever is in there out. She dried off abnormally, and probably had some mastitis while she did that was left untreated. You never know about sneaky nursing, though!

Polled goats are great, mainly because they save us the fun of disbudding. There are many breeders who have a good deal of polled stock, and try to breed for this trait. We aren't one of those breeders, but we do have a couple polled does and a junior buck who's polled. They were purchased...
Not to push you one way or the other (because disbudding is a completely personal decision)...but if you do decide to have future kids disbudded, just look around for someone else to do it, and check references 1st.
A well disbudded kid, 99.9% of the time...equals a no trauma no drama hornless...

Yep. To give you some idea...AGS to ADGA reregistrations. Last year, and for many years before, all you needed was a $1 transfer record from AGS to reregister into ADGA. This year, AGS is charging FIVE DOLLARS PER GOAT for the same record.
