I picked a bunch of the fireweed today... going to try to dry the red leaves for a wreath...

I had one years ago, but our cockatiel (she had been gone a long time now) loved them.. and chewed all the dried leaves off the wreath.

I decided it has been enough years, time to make another....

We no longer have a cockatiel... we do have a Cockatoo, but she never lands on the now naked wreath.... she is too big, so I think this time the decoration will last...

Had the worst time trying to get a good photo of the church with the northern lights.... this entire nonsense of wanting to sleep before zooming up to Anchorage

So.... this is all I got... should be lights again tonight... we shall see...

We saw termination dust, just a little bit... on a few of the mountains on the pass... most of the mountains were still clean.

When we, Youngest and I did our round trip to Anchorage for his teeth on Tuesday.

As to his teeth... doc says so far so good... the teeth are moving like they should, and it doesn't look like any of the teeth are dying...

So :fl I am more hopeful that the kid won't end up with false teeth at the age of 16!!!!
