Make sure you get a high enough estimate for the mature trees. You know they will try to talk you down on value. Even if you have a lot more trees, how old were the living trees, how long to grow them to that size, what species, how much if you sold them to a logger, etc. For the dead tree, how much wood was taken and what is the value of a cord of firewood.

No excuse that they cut down trees on your land. Even though the landlord did not know or give permission, since it was his tenant, he may share blame for restitution.

Go get 'em!

So.....
In better news...

I can now get dressed without agonizing pain!

Woot! :clap

The shot, and PT, has gotten my pain level down to a manageable level.

I was even able to pick up wood and carry it to the wood stove, ALL BY MYSELF. :ep

So, excellent!

And spouse said something about it being too cold for the wood stove to keep up...
Yada yada....

So... I shelled out money... had a repair man come up and fixed the fuel oil heater...

Came up today, the same day I called! :ep

The wood stove heats the kitchen/living half of the house... the fuel oil space heater heats the bedroom half..

I certainly hope not. He is not responsible for the actions of his tenants other than maybe handling noise complaints.

@Alaskan I'm floored, (cue Bugs Bunny) What a maroon! Maybe the idiot can get back the wood that was taken away so you can heat your house with it.

So relieving to not hurt. Even a manageable pain will wear you down and out after enough time. I've been thinking about getting by elbow looked at. (I know I will NOT do it). It's been a month and hard to pick up my half gallon water jug, while having to move logs that are heavier than I am and loading and unloading a rick of wood a day on certain days. To bad my boys aint a few years older. ;)

The shot has been great.

So nice to have the pain start going down.

I am sorry you are all beat up... I am amazed by the amount of pain you have...

I hope it eases up for you.

:hugs

Well.... 1 of my out of the house kids will be home for Thanksgiving....

So, 3 out of 5 will be here.

I am glad it is only the 3... because the house is a WRECK, the toy/storage room is still not done. So, the rest of the house is barely livable with stuff piled every which way....

Turns out the carpet padding in that room was glued down... tight..... a nice flat snow shovel didn't do the trick either.... just slow go with hand tools.

So... yeah.... NOT DONE.

And my shoulder is better, as in improvement, but I am not anywhere near full power.

And spouse now has cellulitis..... :idunno crazy! At first we thought it was gout. REALLY bad.... but, super strong antibiotics were started last night, and it is looking better this morning...

Just... wow ..... 2 busted up old people!

I am glad we still have kids in the house!
