I have given kids a to do list today.

We shall see how it goes.

Finding my electric net fence and a fence charger is way up there on the list.

I printed out one wedding service booklet... it printed perfectly... I will have everyone look it over... see if anything needs to be changed before printing out more.

Shipped eggs finally hatching!!!

5 weeks is a LONG wait!

6 are dried off and snuggled.

2 are still drying off in the incubator. 2 are still trying to hatch.

I had 1 that internally pipped, and then died. Not sure why.

All the rest died way sooner... rotten etc.... but I hadn't tossed them yet because I wasn't fully sure.

Nice haul though for shipped eggs, excellent actually.

I paid for 24 eggs... and we have 8 out... but we might end up with 10.

What breed geese did you get? Will they mate for life, 1 on 1? So you'll have unattached geese?? 🥴. Eggs won't be fertile. That's most geese but, you may have polygamists? 🤣
These geese (American Buff Geese) are supposed to be 1 male to every 3 to 5 females. I was thinking of running 1 to 3. So, over wintering 2 males and 6 females.

They are supposed to be highly fertile, hardy, friendly, and excellent broodies.

We shall see!
