I took a look at that and it’s confusing. So the way to find out is,

Just a quick search says 90% of mohair is produced in Texas.
Angoras are sensitive to temperature changes.
There is a ranch of them a couple hundred miles from here of them. In fact it’s on the cagba.org website. RC Angora goats and in fact due to this climate they grow a different kind of mohair on the ones from here.

Little fellow plumb tuckered out, could of finished the pen for him and he would of woke up penned in!
Takes a lot to keep up with me I guess.

Dairy goats that are bottle fed and milked twice a day will go out to forage and return at milking time like dairy cattle. Otherwise, goats go feral quickly unless you or a goat keeper go out with the flock. If you feed at night, they will come in for a routine feed but must be trained to do so. If there is very good forage and grazing, they may decide not to return for a night feed. Sheep are pretty much the same. They can be trained to return at night to a barn or night corral for a feeding. However, either species does not obediently come back unless trained to come in at night by offering fresh feed routinely at night in one location.

Cattle can be trained to come in to a barn or corral (see @farmerjan) as well.

Looking good! I'm guessing peak is that high to shed snow easy? The worry I have is that body heat the puppy generates will go into peak not stay down so maybe lower ceiling inside?
There will be a ceiling inside there and there will be insulation with a installed heat lamp fixture. The "attic" portion will hold his dog food, treats and other various things for him. I've knocked the peak down since then by about 4.5 inches, more pictures to come soon as I get it more done. Should be finished today,

Virginia is for Pasture Farmers!
Anatolian experience was a full on disastrous nightmare. Hopefully, it's got more of the GP than the other!
Hot wire, very dang hot, top and bottom. Get him shocked hard from day one. You stay where the fence tells you. Good luck.

Doing pretty good with this one, pole barn is where his house is right now, I can leave doors open and he ain't leaving it. Wife tried to get him to follow her, nope you aren't my master. Picked him up and put him in his pen, she walked off and 30 minutes later he showed up back at the pole barn. So if I assure him this is home when I get his dog house done and make sure he can't escape he will stay. Every morning I go to feed birds and get eggs, waiting for me at the bottom to join as soon as he hears me. I take him inside the coop and he stays put as I commence a Easter egg hunt.
