Wellllll, he is a good boy - but he is still a puppy . A learning curve for the boy, not making excuses for him - for the pups who are good it's so easy for us to forget they are puppies (yeah I know big puppies). I'll be working with Zo, everything so nice an calm on the roads, and then - zoom, spilt, regroup - puppies!Buford blew his winning streak. I looked out the window a couple of nights ago and all sheep were standing up, when they should have been bedded down. Buford.
Buford was in Coopers pen with 7 ewes and Sheba. Cooper was charging Buford, so he must’ve been being a bad boy. What FUN! Buford easily evaded Cooper’s charge, ran around behind him and GAME ON!
I put Buford in the kennel for the night. He’s back on nighttime kennel. He just couldn’t be that good that long. He’s still behaving out in the field, but if I leave, sheep or Buford are penned up.
Standard reply by Anatolian owners! LOL Although off territory most Anatolians are pretty gentle - but maybe not when attacked by a couple of small dogs with little man syndrome. LOLShe assured me that they were friendly. I remarked, “Mine aren’t.”
