Bad weekend with crap weather, crap mood.

Heavy work schedule all week. Better get going! A mug of coffee to go..... Gotta get past it. Concentrate! Grrr.

I was about 30ft from their back door. They have tiny back yards! And this property was empty for decades.

Monday-est Monday I've had in a while!
Took the extra time to make a nice big salad this AM (to compensate for the entire weekend of crap food)
EVERYONE in front of me doing 5-10 mph under the limit... arrived 2mins late for work
Scalehouse is dark.... Check and see text from Scale person - also running late!
Didn't even clock in - rushed up stairs & started scaling trucks in
Total chaos for 2 hrs until everyone gets here & we get all caught up and I've at least (pretended to) looked at the 100+ emails from Friday & the weekend
Then find out that we're having a safety meeting today & I need to place a lunch order for the whole crew...
would've solved 99% of this morning if I had known & not stopped to make that salad

Cold again - 36-54 I guess winter has to give us one last yahoo. Not complaining, my heavy warm stuff doesn't get used much and the cold here keeps the slitheries at bay. The rain storm so far has dropped 2 1/2 inches on us and given us now the last two days to dry up a bit before the next predicted wetness. Sheep are all happy - they got out to graze this morning. Just about everything was tasty. probably because they haven't been out and about for the last few days. My neighbor with the goats had to kids today! YAY. I'll go see them soon.
We have snow in our local mountains! It's pretty framed in palm trees! Of course that makes everyone and their brother drive out here and pull over to get their quick pics. Have to watch out for them. I feel sorry for the folks who live on the mountains as all the peeps from the city drive up the mountain to "play in the snow" without regard for private property.
Time for lunch!!

It's the small mobile home subdivision. I haven't had any issues with the neighbors yet and don't want to start them.

First cup of coffee brewed. We are in the middle of a snow storm. The snow started at 1730 yesterday and put about an inch and a half down. Then it changed to sleet and freezing rain for about two hours. Our warning is until 1900 tonight. They are calling for 6-9 inches. I think there's probably 4" out there right now.

February had to have one last hoorah. How rude. Now I have to finish this coffee and go dig all of my animals out. Hope it is nicer where everyone else is!
