Well, I needed the sleep, I was tired. Still tired. I walked 7.3 miles Friday, 4 miles yesterday, all in the process of working on the farm.

I definitely am slightly tired. But mostly sore everywhere. Oh well, I’ll treat myself to a Red Bull today, that always solves a lot of issues.

Only thing that bothered me was my alarm didn't turn it off, so on at "new" time, which was really "old" time. . Got up anyway. Made coffee, pancakes, started dishwasher going...things like that while kitchening. . Getting ready to bake bread and prep a small ham to cook. Dinner, sandwiches this week...ham bone & beans later in week.

Went on craigslist. Nothing great. Contacted person hatching eggs for chicks I want. Going in incubator coming weekend...perfect. I'm looking at list of what I wanted to do. Weather prepping to rain, so changing plans. Bummer. Rain tomorrow. Work Mon. Wed looks to be home day.

UGH - my least favorite or most unliked day of the year - changing to Daylight savings time. Waking up behind is never good. I could stand on a soapbox about it - but it won't change it. Hope the city peeps are pleased with messing around with the clock again.

Only POSITIVE thing on time change -- I don't have to "be" anywhere else unless by choice.. I can just deal at home.

The cats do not acknowledge the time change. They learned that I will grab them and snuggle if they try waking me by walking on me - so now they chew my phone's charger cord.

Meow-Meow-Meow... no response
stomp-meow-stomp, stomp-meow - gets them grabbed and hugged .. but still not awake
Silently step over onto the bedside table and make the phone rock a tiny bit - INSTANTLY AWAKE

There is another snow event today. They are calling for 8"-18". That should be fun. The warning doesn't start until 1800. But it has already been snowing since 0630. I am not impressed. The radar doesn't even show snow in our area right now. It is supposedly well north of us, and the "real" snow doesn't start until around 1230.

At least that kid has had 2 days to dry off and unfold. I was watching him jump around and annoy his mom during breakfast. Mom's of all species get no peace

Little buckling wanted to come check me out this morning, but Mom still isn't sure how she feels about me. They have only been here a week. So I am keeping my distance for now. The kid is well fed, so you can't ask for more than that really. But I am determined to snuggle him!

I slept late again. It’s daylight already. I woke up still tired. Supposed to drive T-posts today, Bennett and Peggy have to be in town this morning, so we’ll get a late start. That’s ok with me. The radiator for the mule came in and Chris will be here this morning to put it on. Going to be in the 40’s and 30’s at night for the 10 day forecast through next Wednesday, with highs in the 50’s and 60’s.

The radar doesn't even show snow in our area right now. It is supposedly well north of us, and the "real" snow doesn't start until around 1230.

Looks like that mess is going mostly south of us, Mr. NOAA (long known to be the teller of tall tales!) says we might see 2.5" of snow tomorrow through Wed. Given the temps it is going to be a wet heavy snow, not my favorite. The wind will be mid 20's into the 30's for over 24 hours.

My stupid back hates me today. Apparently manhandling 5ft tallx16ft long panels around upset it. And in daylight savings time and ugh!
