@Bruce I was looking at the weather forecast last evening and wondered if you were going to be getting much. We wound up with only about 1 inch or a little more yesterday... but it snowed lightly/flurried all day... temps in the low 30's. Today it is up to 50 with mostly sun and a few clouds and it is mostly gone. Still chilly out there though. Have you had much snow all this winter?

DD1 texted a picture yesterday from VA saying "it is snowing". I texted one back from DW's mother's with snow on the ground and blue sky saying "not snowing" ;)

We haven't had a lot this year, especially early. DD2's ski area opened late due to lack of snow. Some years ago they would open for Thanksgiving weekend, lately not until the Saturday following. This year not until mid December. Not all that much snow in January, most of what we've gotten has been in Feb and now March. That is not unusual.

Three days into this time change and my body is still exhausted. We have every bit of 4"-5" of snow right now, expecting another 4"-8"!:thThursday and beyond will be in the high 40's and raining, so whatever snow we get shouldn't hang around long. Then comes mud.

We have wind gusts of 30-40mph right now, so I am taking my time getting ready to go outside. I restarted the woodstove, let the puppy zip around in the snow, had my coffee, and now it is time to do the first plow/shovel of the day.

It’s drizzling rain here, great for burning more of the piles I have around here, but I am going to Lufkin this morning. My nephew’s wife is pregnant and being induced this morning. She is high risk and has pregnancy diabetes. She has been on bed rest and closely monitored. So my day is all about the baby, my nephew and wife, and the new grandma. I’ll get chores done and go.

Really wet snow kind of building up, kind of melting at the same time. It is just about 32°F. Nothing I want to move with the tractor, there will be a sheet if ice or the gravel will get dug up, neither good. I noticed the plow sent bits of road all through the bank when it went buy this morning.

Regarding @Alaskan - MIA. I checked with someone I know on BYC who has had contact in the past, she doesn't have info any more nor does someone else she knows from BYC who used to have contact. Very concerning :(
