Transplanted pepper and tomato seedlings from the sprout trays to a motley crew of yogurt and chicken liver containers. I planted four apple trees including an Arkansas black apple and a crabapple to pollinate all. Berries are next. And fencing the inground garden areas. Bottle lamb is day tripping with the flock and overnighting in a dog crate. One more week and she’s out. Bustelo for me today.

It's been a kinda busy morning. Did the normal - cuppa and oatmeal and out the door to graze. It was going to be Zo's day - BUT -- couldn't do that to poor hopeful Obi - because it's his birthday. Eight years - how can that be??
He got to graze, help feed the chickens, rode in the UTV to get oranges off one of our trees, out to a feed store, a Petco, and home - and all BEFORE the rain set in. Lucky dog!! So - rain and cup 3 of tea (no milk for coffee - should've stopped when I was down the hill - oh well).

Goat auction day. Going to watch prices. Body woke me early, so on 2nd cup already. 🤫

Early to bed as I'd had a long, long day at work. The person teamed to work with me on this project nearly drove me nuts! Lack of experience and talked to herself. 🥴. Never again!

Drizzly rains off/on all day yesterday...rains today, sometime...and tomorrow late and into Monday morning.😱 Enough already. I'd like some sunshine. I need to start weaning some kids and milking on a regular basis within next couple weeks. Need to get pens set. Need to get frig ready. Need motivated! 🤷 Need dry and sun.

On first cup of coffee, made a bowl of oatmeal. I’ll se how this does me today. Today is back to the fence between me and the couple I bought this place from. They came over yesterday evening and Bennett pushed up the big logs that my little tractor wouldn’t move. I could see them burning from my front window, sitting in my recliner. I walked 7.3 miles yesterday. I’m a little sore this morning. With all that I’ve been doing this week, I thought sore muscles would show up the first day. Heavy fog, fire must have burned down to embers.
Setting H braces today.

Did the time change mess with anyone else today, or is it just me? Went to bed early hoping it would all even out in the morning. It is 0700 and still dark outside. On the bright side, my puppy didn't wake me up at 5 because his internal clock is messed up too! I woke him up this morning instead. Ha!

Time change? Aww phooey! And I slept later than usual I’ve been up and out at the butt crack of dawn all week to work on fence clearing, burn pile and all that fun stuff. Oh well. I’ll skip Sunday school and just go to church. Sheep are still laying down, they aren’t yelling at me yet. On second cup of coffee, I’m not going to rush around this morning. Just took a shower, going to relax for a bit before I plunge into the day. Time change…….grumble grumble grumble….
