I slept good, I was tired from chain sawing down yaupon in the front fence line. Clearing the fence on my side won’t be good enough. I’ll have to take truck and flatbed out on the road and clear on the outside of the fence too. I love the battery chainsaw my son gave me! No way I could use the big heavy Husky BJ and I bought.

On cup two - cup one long gone with breakfast (left over frittata aka -- fat flat omelet  ) Out to graze sheep with Obi. Pretty morning out there. A good one for getting things done!
And --- yesterday this came via UPS

@farmerjan --- I've been looking for African Violets since way back when, when you started talking about them. Lowes and Home Depot here just don't have them :barnie. It became a thing to always check. And I checked multiple Lowes and Home Depots - ready to grab any I found - even half dead! But none were there to be found. Got an Amazon gift card and suddenly figured out what I'd look for, lo and behold available on Amazon. Makes ya' wonder what you can't get on Amazon . Maybe African Violets aren't a thing out here - but I sure could pick from tons of orchids out here.
Tuesday is clean up day - all the stalls, 💩 etc. If I get done soon enough maybe something fun.

I'm going to try some peonies by one of the patios - I know they do great in the Midwest, but have no idea about here.
They also grow here and in Oregon. I suspect if they have them in your garden center, they will grow where you are as well. Probably different varieties. I can grow Artichokes but they are short annuals. In Cal, the plants are perennial and HUGE.

Crossing my fingers - it was a box of 8 roots at Costco. . We've got so many micro-climates it's anyone's guess.

Coffee is ready and leftover pizza for breakfast. Going to hit the fence, or lack thereof today. Bennett and I will be working on the property line fence between us. There is no fence, so a completely new build. Neighbor Chase is coming over to cut big trees out of the existing fence line and maybe drag out and pile up the pine logs.

Cool here this week. 37 with 31 after winds...barely get to low 50s today, similar tomorrow. Winters last hoorah. :idunno energizing with coffee. Then chores, go to work. Can't do much outside anyway. Even saying frost in morning 🤔😟

Forgot to go to dump yesterday, so need to remind myself to do that today! Two bags are still in the truck bed. 🙄 Hope no kitties felt the need to rip them open last night.

Walked in the house yesterday evening around 6:30 and was violently reminded that I'd forgotten to take the trash out. 🤢
Luckily the local dump is open till 7!
