For now, it seems the fan hooked to water pump....that assembly....is the problem. Water not leaking but if you spin the fan by hand it whines, giggles, etc. So waiting on part that's coming from another store to this one by me. I got the water pump and the fan gear thing. About 3-4 is normal route time. "Maybe" it will be running fine again today. Another $150, so still ok. Went out and started the car. I'll retag/insure it this week. Get inspected, not feel stranded  wasn't using it so dropped that expense--ins, primarily. But it's 20 this yr and just turning 104k. It's a dependable car, was my mom's, always maintained, better mileage than my truck -- I just don't really like it. Operational fine, just not what I'd buy. 🤷 So it goes. Point A to B....it works. 28mpg in town. Just a vehicle.

Oddly, both truck and car are 2003s 🤣

Thanks for the coffee. I was so tired that I fell asleep watching TV at an early time, woke up enough, and stumbled off to bed at 11:30. Woke up at 6. It’s going to be a rainy week, not necessarily here, most times rain just teases and falls nearby, or it could be Noah’s flood. Who knows? One thing for certain, it’s gonna be HOT.

This has been our past 2 weeks. The pain it has brought is …ugh.

I took a look at it, quick one. I was looking at chicken pluckers on Amazon and I think Vevor had just so-so reviews. I’ll have to look again to make sure.

Coffee is ready. I went outside to let dogs out, Cooper and his girls. Plus a new lamb born last night, a chocolate brown ewe. I’ll post pictures on my journal.

I wasn't "buying"...just another supplier to consider when we're looking for the "gotta have, outta stock" 🤣

Just now getting my coffee! Can't get to sleep, fretting over "stuff", then sleep late :idunno wish we could flip a switch to stop that.🤣. Even the CRS goes off.. Dang, just when ya need it!!

Weather looks clear & hot for today...80 they say. No rain came yesterday🥴 unless you count the 10 drops from that one passing cloud. Could use some good rain and not happening. Feast or famine.

Need to go to work a couple days and truck needs last of the parts on, radiator back in -- removed to get to other stuff and weld a tiny leak on it. Ahhh, gotta love the oldies.

I'm sure a couple girls are by the barn waiting to be milked. I'll finish this cuppa and get going. Another batch of cheese to do today...only got to one pot yesterday. Ricotta -- yummy lasagna fare.

I’m a buyer for a chicken plucker. DD offered to buy me one and I’ll hold her to it.

Sentry has ANOTHER STUPID TURTLE!! I swear, some days it’s like ATTACK OF THE TURTLES!! I’ve only had one cup of coffee! Guess I’d better get dressed, get the darn turtle, haul it and yesterday’s prize, away.

DD should buy you one! You raise lamb for them, chickens, piggies, veggies....yeah, it would be a reasonable contribution from her 👍 my DD used my mower for years. One day, bought her own. When mine died, I stared using hers!! 🤣. DD lives in her mobile home on my farm....no lot rent. Yeah, a little payback is no guilt for me!

Coffee and scone downed, about to head to the barn for the sheep. Need to tend them, sort them (have 1 lesson today) and then strip/clean their stall - it's Tuesday again ;) . Today 55-71 overcast cool.
Word/scuttlebutt on the grove - he's taking all the trees out and replanting with new avo trees. Why isn't he just stumping them??? I mean the rootstock is there, the irrigation is there. DH said a neighbor suggested maybe root rot? But then wouldn't replanting with avos not be the smartest thing? The whole thing doesn't make sense,
the grove was sprayed after harvest maybe a month ago (I could check my journal for that day - have the pic there),
ripping out the way they are now is destroying the irrigation lines - two strikes on the $$. Needless waste. Maybe switching to a vineyard perhaps?? But DH's source assuredly said the plan was new avos. Changing type of avos and spacing perhaps?? That grove had the best Haas around. Super rich and buttery. Anything better than what was there would not be good for shipping. Time will tell - the saga continues.
Out to sheep, teaching and Tuesday ranch chores.
I can hear the grove remover machine -- not done yet!
Here's the grove remover - it's a BEAST -- eats trees like a string trimmer eats grass.

Have a good one everyone.
