I took a look at it, quick one. I was looking at chicken pluckers on Amazon and I think Vevor had just so-so reviews. I’ll have to look again to make sure.

Coffee is ready. I went outside to let dogs out, Cooper and his girls. Plus a new lamb born last night, a chocolate brown ewe. I’ll post pictures on my journal.

Horrible day for me and my family. My 7 year old GSD passed away during the night. My son woke us up at 4am to tell us that he found him. He was fine, running around like a normal dog, then last night he vomited (Not unusual for him-he always had 2 meals because empty stomachs made him throw up) my son gave him a little water and brought the golden into another room to let him be. He went to check on him and found him. I think it was bloat, but my son blames himself. Odin was a perfect dog, gentle and soft tempered like most long haired GSDs. I'm a mess, as are my family.
I'm having a post-mortem done to show my son it was not his fault, and there was nothing that could have been done.
I'll miss him so terribly. I can't imagine a day without him.

I am so terribly sorry. I understand how painful is your loss, having lost 3 dogs in one year, the most painful being my 7 yr old Service Dog in Mar. I still cry at night.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard when they get old and you know you will lose them eventually but such a sudden death is so much harder

We went to Burns yesterday for Dr appt (Burns is only 110 mi away. but bot much is available there) It was only Fen’s 2nd time in a restaurant and he was awesome. He did excellent in the farm store, the Dr office (except when he farted and the Dr turned green ) the grocery store and in line for the pharmacy. No one who saw him yesterday would believe he’s inly 8 mo old or how awful he is to live with at home

Really proud of him. He has even been leaving the rabbits alone this morning, choosing to torture a bug he found under the side table instead

It was ANOTHER TURTLE morning. Sentry was shrieking! TURTLE! Growl, bark, whine, shriek, all in one sound. 3in 3 days. TURTLE! It has been hauled about 10 miles away.

@Honeybee Hill i am so sorry about your beautiful dog. He was gorgeous and I know he was a family member, loved and cherished. I’m so sad for you and your family.
