Fen got me up at 5:30 this morning. But he spent his time cuddling instead of bartering which I appreciated.
I made some comfrey extract to try and TheMan is pretty sure itā€™s alleviating a lot of his pain. Mine is better too, but itā€™s hard to credit anything with all the medication Iā€™m on.
Anyway he was so happy with it yesterday, he had me put it on both knees, his hip, and his shoulder. Then he went out to feed and said everything was good but his hip and he hadnā€™t taken a pain pill yet. Weā€™ll see.

Thinking about putting the rabbits in the xpen one at a time as they have bad zoomies. There is some white clover on the lawn and theyā€™ve been eating a lot of wheat grass, sunflowers, raspberry leaves etc. Any thoughts from rabbit owners?

Fen customized his bandana. Hopefully heā€™s leaving his life of crime for a career in fashion.

One my second cup. Anyone wants a mug, shout out, I have a Keurig.

Sad surprise....but, not unexpected. Lost my old mini stallion during the night. At 39 and after a good life, well loved. Via con Dios, Amego. I'll miss you.

RIP old man...šŸ’•šŸ˜„ Run with your mares again.
Sorry you lost an old friend. I hit ā€œloveā€, because of his long, good life, and that he will get to see his mares again.

Was he your last mini?

o_O So many roofs damaged due to hail in Texas and Oklahoma. Work forcast meeting said estimated 100,000 homes in DFW only. 5,000 trucks to supply Home Depots in Oklahoma.
Polyco makes the asphalt secret sauce that adds to hail impact rating to shingles. It's going to be crazy for awhile.

Iā€™m so sorry, I know he leaves a hole in your heart. 39 years old, Mom, you did good. Big hugs. ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

No. Just last stallion. Still have 6 old mares...27-31 šŸ¤« geriatric acres here šŸ¤£ two of those are showing age more than other 4. We all know our "time" comes.

Amego went peacefully, I'm sure. He was laying on sternum, all legs tucked, neck up and just looked like his head dropped into the bed of clover where he was. šŸ’“ Sad but calming at the same time. I cherish that, knowing he was at rest when his time came.

Thanks Bay. Yes, we've shared a lot of time together. Many foals over the years. He earned the care and retirement I was glad and able to give him. šŸ˜
