Good morning all. Coffee's ready.
o_O So many roofs damaged due to hail in Texas and Oklahoma. Work forcast meeting said estimated 100,000 homes in DFW only. 5,000 trucks to supply Home Depots in Oklahoma.
Polyco makes the asphalt secret sauce that adds to hail impact rating to shingles. It's going to be crazy for awhile.
I was watching last night's rerun (6.3 just shows the last news that was on) of the weather this morning. To early for today's weather. Severe storms from KS into TX. A couple of tornados, 3 died in one and someone from Tuttle (south of OKC) sent a video in of the hail hitting their house and pool. Made more splashes than a couple of 1 year olds in the tub. It looked like half a dozen teenagers shooting giant paintballs into a stock tank.
Amego went peacefully, I'm sure. He was laying on sternum, all legs tucked, neck up and just looked like his head dropped into the bed of clover where he was. 💓 Sad but calming at the same time. I cherish that, knowing he was at rest when his time came.
Sorry about Amego. 39 was a good run. There used to be a running bet between some of my friends and family if I'd make it that long.

When watching the weather earlier it was in hopes of it raining here. It should've been here around 2 then forecast (yesterdays 4 o' clock pm forecast) for another batch around 7. At 2.30 and now it's bone dry and it no longer looks like the next batch will hit us.

Severe storms? I just turned on the news, I only get Houston news, so seldom watch it. They almost never mention Trinity county and the station banner at the top of the screen covers Trinity county when showing radar.

There was a very brief mention of a tornado ripping through the Texas panhandle and several people killed. The big weather news is the heat advisory. Heat index of 108 degrees triggers a heat advisory in Houston. Heat index is going to be 113 today and tomorrow.
Great. Just great.

Coffee is ready. I made extra. I like a glass of iced coffee, cream and sugar in the afternoon. Instead of drinking it I should dump it over my head.
A friend is picking me up at 12 to take me to get my truck at the body shop. I’m ready to see and get my truck back.

Tyler weather, KLTV has extensive information on storms and heat advisory. The storms stayed north of me. Heat advisory for Trinity county heat index is 110 starting at 11AM. It’s raining north of me, but not coming here.

So far, day is looking good. Of course, still early 🤣

Drove to jobs in car yesterday. OMG -- where are all the controls? The knobs? What's this one for? Why do I sit so low? What?????? It wasn't fun.😳😔. But I'll acclimate in a few days. Might appreciate the better gas mileage BUT....never put bags of feed in the trunk unless you have an elephant to lift them out! I miss my Jeep, too. I am thankful to HAVE a second vehicle waiting for my ungrateful butt 😵‍💫 whine on!

It's always an unpleasant adjustment when I have to borrow Dad's Impala. Sooo low! I feel like it would be easier to roll out onto the ground and then get up.

Welp, Fen decided his breakfast should be served a la crate at 5:30 this morning. He climbed in and waited, his cue for me to serve him, but I ignored him because I was still sleeping. He huffed, got out, turned and LOUDLY yanked the door open and got in again. I have no idea what he was doing but I swear it sounded like his stomped his feet on the wooden floor of it going in.

I got him his frozen Topl (he can’t eat from a bowl) and when he was done he went out back. I went to check through the window that he wasn’t annoying the rabbits and noticed how filthy the windows are so I grabbed windex, stepped outside and began cleaning them. The RABBITS began stomping their feet in the cages, wanting hay.
I complied, came back n to make my coffee only to find TheMan in his chair asking for a breakfast smoothie. :bow

Mister is the only one I am speaking to today!
