Fen keeps waking me up at 5 am. I am NOT a morning person, as pain usually interferes with sleep. If I ignore him and refuse to feed him, he starts howling! Jeepers this dog insists on being in control :barnie

Yesterday waa my birthday but I slept through it. Today is our 30th anniversary. It went by fast! Got a reservation on a yet to be born Anatolian puppy from what appears to be a good breeder. She does all the OFA’s in hips, elbows, etc and has puppy contracts so I feel relatively confident it will be a healthy puppy.
I will probably just water the garden and feed rabids today and spend whatever energy I have left on housecleaning 🤢
Happy Birthday and Anniversary!!!
Ah Fen - please don't tell my dogs about your wake up routine. My dogs say you should check to see if eyes are open - if if they are and then close and your people lay very still you hop up on the bed and snuggle in until they start moving. (pawprinted by Lumen, Obi, Ree, Zo, & Twinnie). 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Today started pretty decent. Now, rain. Very light but very wet😂 so inside batch cooking. Friend with big NC garden, few hrs south, gifted me green peppers & eggplants, yesterday! 15 stuffed peppers to freeze. About 8# sliced/breaded/baked for eggplant Parm. Made a few pounds farmer cheese for that this morning, also. Cooking frenzy here :old stale bread waiting to become bread pudding :drool. Yeah, I'll be eating good. Use up excesses.

Inside can be delt with.🤣

Good Morning everyone! It's make your own cup day sorry!! I have regular coffee and Cafe Bustello for anyone who wants that extra kick to get going. I've been up for 4 hours already. Do I know why that I do seeing how I was in bed and asleep somewhere around 7:45pm last night and went into a deep hard slumber.
@peteyfoozer my dog Sav wakes me up every morning between 2:30-3:45 and if I take a few minutes to open and focus my eyes he's nudging me with his cold wet nose then if I don't get up he goes over to FH who starts moaning about being touched by a cold wet nose so I have no choice to get up to take him out.
@Mini Horses look up FLEA MARKETS in your area then rent a space or just set up a little away from there so people will see your stuff as they are coming/going to the flea market. If I lived closer I would be going to see what all you had.

Good morning as well MH and all. I was up early as well. Don't know about Cafe Bustello unless it's a way to make an Irish coffee.;):)

color does not seem to matter like with cattle.....
Got a joke for ya Jan.

You do know that the __________ (your state here) cattleman's association helped get Obama elected don't you.

He's black and got a little ear.

Morning all.
Starting with coffee, fog ... and a missing chicken. 🤔
I could've SWORN there were 11 when I locked them up. But only 10 this AM. Spotted feathers against the fence line but no body. I've always found bodies when it's been a possum, raccoon, hawk/owl... suspecting the local fox family has found my girls. 😞 Since 2 of the chicken yard sides are shared by the paddock.. it's time to wrap the chicken yard in 2 lines of the cow's electric fence, I suppose. Did you know there are handy little insulators that are made to use with chain link fences that just clip onto any wire fence with narrow gaps? ☺️

@Mini Horses do you have any community F.B. pages? The one for my little town lists yard sales and even individual items (virtual yard sales) all the time. My S.I.L and her hubby go to a local flea market most weekends. She does that extreme couponing thing and then they sell all that stuff. She said they almost always make a couple hundred over what she bought it for. A lot of times, people will give her stuff that they just want to get rid of and she sells that too (like her own little Goodwill).

Good morning all. Coffee downed and as many heavy chores as I could do yesterday and this morning. Hoping that my arm won't be out of commission for too long. Still a few heavy chores I ~could do, but will have to wait. Getting warm fast here today, summer may be winning over spring today.
Yesterday we had a motorcycle guy come through -- he actually unchained our south gate and continued to the neighbor's locked gate - came flying back and cussed out DH about the lock (not ours and definitely CAN be locked).
I say the guy (a-wipe) came through because the easement was used as a detour on Saturday. DH says it is a coincidence. I don't think so. In the 4 yrs here there was only ONE who tried to go through (besides Amazon drivers). And the next is the a-wipe motorcycle (who unchained and left the gate open too). Coincidence?? NAH.
Arm thing is this afternoon, anxious to get done with it.
And just because you know me and pics --- this is/was the grove this morning, the dozer belongs to a friends hubby, Sun compliments of God.
