Coffee anyone ?

I woke up at 5:30 and went back to sleep. Just got up, on first cup of coffee. It will be 103F again today and for the next several days. I have no ambition.

Woke up to the thunk thunk of fighting rams. 4:30a was cool enough for a throw down. They will be guests of honor at an assortment of holiday dinners. Moving lost us our client base so I may have a pretty full freezer this year. I hated to send the colored ram to freezer camp but he was aggressive. Iced coffee and biscuits today. Get chores done by noon and putter indoors (nap). Have a great day all!

What breed are your sheep? Those thunk/cracks when they hit heads can be something.

I worked outside until 1:30. Truck wouldn’t start. Chris said batteries so I went to Sam’s and got 2. He’ll come put them in tomorrow.

With all the things you do, you don't replace the batteries yourself?

It's afternoon, am sitting with my iced coffee - ahhhh. Went to our range fence supplier and picked up sheep/goat panels so I can have a second corral off of the other side of the barn. A corral gate got bent months ago when someone else's dog went bonkers barking outside of the barn. Scared the sheep wayyyyy bad. So we were also going to get another panel gate to replace the bent one --- and our supplier gave us a new one . Got the name of a harvester for our freezer candidate - will call next week as he's on vaca this week.

With all the things you do, you don't replace the batteries yourself?

Nope. I could but I didn’t have to. Chris checked the alternator too and THAT I cannot do. LOL

Hawaii....the Maui island fire is devastating! Everyone remember those in your prayers.

I have family there. My cousin’s son’s house burned to the ground, so did their business and all their boats but for one small sailboat..friends there say it was all very “unnatural”

Fen forced me up at 4:57. I really could have used those 3 minutes
Made TheMan breakfast and saw that Fenny hadn’t eaten the dead meatie I tossed him. He played with it all night. I guess it is his friend.
Ordered a paint gun for the chicken coop. There’s sooo much work that needs to be done! I’m thinking I should begin with coffee. Fen is doing lazy spyin’ today.

Morning peeps!
Yesterdays projects either got completed (POOL UP and BEING FILLED), or in progress (OUTSIDE COOKING STATION [ran out of deck boards]), completed (FIRE WOOD HOLDERS BUILT and WOOD STACKED). Also got a couple pine trees in front of the house limbed so NO squirrels can get onto roof anymore. Yes, that's FH standing next to pool with his back to me and 1 of my bridesmaids in the pool (she's also sitting on the floor of outside cooking station. Very productive day if I may say so
